Exploring Kanyakumari in a day – this was my day trip from Kerala to Kanyakumari. I went by road and the first stop was Padmanabhapuram Palace. Then I visited Swami Vivekananda Rock Memorial – which is one of the most revered places for Hindu Pilgrimage and also to visit in Kanyakumari. After that I visited the Thiruvalluvar statue and this entire journey was by ferry. Then I visited Bhagavathy Amman Temple or the Kanyakumari temple. I also stopped for lunch at hotel Saravana in Kanyakumari. I wanted to explore local food of Kanyakumari or good Tamil cuisine but couldn't really find it. Hope this video is helpful.

Rahul Sharma thanks so much ? so glad you enjoyed it
Stayed here for around five years between Nov 2012 and Nov 2017. The place is Really amazing. Hotels and restaurants are really very affordablenable. Apart from the places shown in this video, here are many more places to visit here. For example, Wax museum, View tower, Sun set point, waterpark, Vivekananda centre, Churches and a temple on hill which is situated outside the kanyakumari city. The best thing is that best quality of kismis, kaju and other fry fruits is also available here on reasonable prices. My favourite shop where I used to buy dry fruits was just in front of Kanyakumari Amman Temple.
@डीSके okay, Thanks
@charu Charu, I don’t remember the stall name now but owner name was Mr. “Ayappan”. Since I was permanent customer I never bargained for the rates and quality of dry fruits etc.
Stall name ?
Even I had been there in may it was a divine experience in swami vivekanand memorial
U have edited my knowledge about the poet statue thank u fr it
Shweta, the best part about your videos are that they are informative. You are always telling the viewers something new about spices, coconuts etc. Keep up the good work !
Shanti Samridhi thanks so much ? I’m learning so best to pass it on too ??
Good morning. Well taken. We (my wife and me) used to frequently visit this place at 2 am in the mornings from trivandrum kerala.. twice in a month. In 1993/94. Indeed its changed a lot. The sree padmanabha temple you mentioned is in Trivandrum kerala. Excellent vedio and presentation ?

i went to kanyakumari like a week back, it’s a beautiful and a stupendous place to visit, but what i really hate there is about how the people pollute the beautiful land, it’s so dirty, and people don’t wear masks, it’s scary ngll, other than cleanliness it’s a beautiful place to visit 🙂

Hi Shweta, lovely video as usual. I have been to Kanyakumari and seen the Triveni sangam. The colours of the different oceans meeting at a common point is something one has to experience. Can’t describe in words. The weather seemed quite cloudy. Where is your next destination? Show us some Diwali celebrations and mithai/farsan places in Mumbai na…like last year 🙂
@SugarSpiceNice India oh ok. I went there many years ago. Yes the Diwali episode will be great Shweta! I miss Mumbai very much during the festive period.
saggitbow oh yes..I didn’t mention it on camera as the colors weren’t getting captured on my camera..but it was indeed beautiful…but here in particular…we can see only 2 different shades now…locals say that is a result of the tsunami..I will try to do a diwali episode..?
Very iconic, uplifting and awe inspiring destination. Thanks and you have one wonderful and incredible Deepavali
Thanks so much ?

If you are planning to visit chennai, mylapore is the best place for a food walk. It is also the birthplace of Saint Thiruvalluvar.
Rewind of memory for me. Looks same as it was years back. Travel journey thru local bus was not fun, but was happy to reach at this place and I also moved. In restaurant to get some energy. Nice to see good restaurants that has come up. The jetty area is some what same. Enjoyed the video . Thanks a lot ?

There are more beautiful places and wonderful experiences to have in kanyakumari other than this?anyway nice video
Elegant video. Really useful for tourists To. Really good video. We once discussed to this holy place with my dear sister but she suddenly died in the last December on 3/12/20/.this place is always eternally gracefuland sacred for all the devotional people and Nature lovers. The awesome confluence of there seas are magnificently Great to watch. The Sunset is unparalleled. Really it is Hard to believe that my sister is not with us to witness the The Temple of and the Memorial Rock. My sister wished to accompany us but we discarded the plan for the time being. Whatever we have to tolerate every pains on earth to survive. This Holy place is one of the best sacred to me.
