9:08 sad to hear that. Chennai local was like our lifeline, we (SRM college students) used to use this rail route (chengalpattu to Chennai Beach via Tambaram railway line) for going to the city from our college campus situated in Potheri.

The best part of your videos is you always mention bifurcation lines at every junction, which is very informative for the railfans. By the way, one more classic journey compilation & what a view after Nagercoil’s departure !! Just HEAVEN.

Good video & amazing to see how clean in general South India is. But multiple pieces of wrong information shared

    1. 7:55. Tambaram is not a ‘chota’ station. This train came onto the last platform which is number 6 & 7. Last platforms usually will not have too many facilities in most railway stations unless it is a big city type of railway station.
    2. 21:08 that’s not a statue of Vivekanand. That’s Thiruvalluvar’s statue!
    3. 20:48 Kanyakumari is a terminal and is impossible to operate this with just two platforms. Good thing you correct this information through text as it actually has 4 platforms.

But otherwise, good job with the presentation.

I am from Ahmedabad but I have nice memories of my 2years stay in trichy (Tiruchirappalli). Particularly days of covid lockdown. Trichy is one of the best cities of India to live. I love trichy food. Missing you trichy and trichy people. Love tamilnadu. ?

Satya Bhai you should start getting English subtitles for your videos. It will allow the audiences who don’t speak or understand Hindi to access these videos and enjoy the beauty and Marvel of Indian railways in its entirety. It will help you reach not only the south india audience, but also the audiences from outside India. I have seen many such requests in your comments section.

Satya, you have beautifully captured sun set at the starting journey at Chennai Egmore, another captured in Kannyakumari sunrise shot at vivekananda memorial. Both are lovely and appreciable.

Grew up in the Tambaram area. Took the same route to school, college and work up-to Egmore. Lots of memories when I saw the green local train. Been 30 years since I have traveled by train.

Bro Loved your video, and thanks for making this one??. Sorry to say that you have wrongly mentioned thiruvalluvar statue as Swami Vivekananda’s statue. that’s a small thing i wanted to convey ?

My Nana ji was a Railway Ticket Counter Clerk at Chengalpattu. Thanks for providing the correct info on the station and the significance of the station in olden days which even the locals today are mostly unaware.
